About the player
Abraev made his mark on the FC Astana academy — a product of the club's own system through and through. His route to the first team began in the reserves, where he stepped into the Kazakhstan Second League in 2025.
The promotion to the senior squad came early in 2026. On his Kazakhstan Premier League debut, in a 4–1 home win over Zhetysu, he scored in the 39th minute.
International recognition followed a similar pattern of rapid progression. After representing Kazakhstan at under-17 level, debuting against Georgia in qualifiers, and later turning out for the under-19 side, Abraev earned his first senior call-up in 2026, making his debut for Kazakhstan in a friendly against Armenia before featuring again against Hungary.
