About the player
Markus Andréas Kaasa came through the youth ranks at IL Hei before joining Odds BK's academy.
At Molde, Kaasa was rewarded with the Eliteserien title in his first year at the club. He added the Norwegian Cup twice, lifting the trophy in 2021–22 and again in 2023, and was named Eliteserien Player of the Month in September 2022.
Kaasa left Molde in September 2025 to join AaB in the Danish 1st Division, signing a contract running until June 2028. Danish reports described the move as AaB having "bought him free" from Molde, indicating a fee changed hands even though the amount was not disclosed.
Internationally, Kaasa's involvement with Norway has so far stayed at youth level, with caps for the under-15 and under-16 sides in 2012 and 2013 respectively.
