Marcos Guilherme

Marcos Guilherme came through the youth ranks at Athletico Paranaense, working his way to the senior squad in 2014. From there his career took him across several continents rather than settling at one club: a loan at GNK Dinamo Zagreb and another back at São Paulo in 2017, a move to Saudi Arabia's Al-Wehda the following year, and a spell at Internacional that included a loan to Santos. He returned to São Paulo in 2022 after ending his contract with Internacional, then took his career further afield still, joining Russian side Khimki on a free transfer in February 2023.

After Khimki's relegation, Guilherme moved to Japan to sign for V-Varen Nagasaki, where he stayed until a loan move to FC Tokyo in 2025. He arrived in Malaysia in January 2026, joining Johor Darul Ta'zim on a free transfer. He scored in the final as Johor Darul Ta'zim won the Malaysia Cup in 2025, and was part of the squad that went on to claim the Malaysia Super League title in the 2025–26 season. In February 2026, he was named Man of the Match in an AFC Champions League Elite fixture against Vissel Kobe.

At youth international level, Guilherme represented Brazil's under-20 side, earning 17 caps and scoring six goals. A right-footed player who operates mainly on the right wing, he has also featured on the left of midfield and further forward when needed.
