Matheus Caldeira Vidotto de Oliveira

He joined the club's academy in São Paulo in 2004 and stayed through 2013, part of the group that won the 2012 Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior with the under-20 side. Promotion to the senior squad followed that year, but Cássio and Walter stood ahead of him in the pecking order, and his path to the pitch was slow: a friendly debut in July 2015, a competitive debut in the Campeonato Paulista only in February 2016. Across his time at Corinthians he collected two Série A titles, in 2015 and 2017, but made just a handful of appearances himself, including two in the 2017 Série A campaign. He left when his contract expired in December 2018, after a spell disrupted by disciplinary issues and injury.

A free transfer took him to Figueirense in January 2019, where he made 10 appearances in the Série B before the move to Japan that reshaped his career. He signed for Tokyo Verdy in January 2020, then in the J2 League, and won the goalkeeper's jersey almost immediately, playing 37 matches in his debut season. He has held onto it since, becoming the defensive anchor of a side that reached the J1 League through the promotion playoffs in 2023. He has now made more than 200 appearances for the club.

There have been no loan spells in his career — every move, from Figueirense to Tokyo Verdy, has come as a permanent transfer or a free signing on an expired contract.
