Matteo Rossetti

Seven assists and a goal in 28 league matches: that was Rossetti's return in the season Ravenna climbed out of Serie D. The club went up to Serie C at the end of 2024–25, with Rossetti adding one appearance in the Coppa Italia Serie D along the way. He had arrived on a free transfer in 2024 and wore the number 8 shirt.

The route there was unusual. He came through the Torino youth sector and played for the Primavera side until 2017, then stayed on the senior register until 2020 without making a single league appearance for the club. Those three years were spent elsewhere: two matches at Alessandria, four at Fermana, then 24 at Renate and 24 at Avellino, where he scored once. The Alessandria spell brought him a Coppa Italia Serie C title in 2017–18.

Pordenone signed him in 2020 for an undisclosed fee and he made 22 appearances in Serie B. The pattern then repeated: Bari took him in 2021 and loaned him out immediately, and he finished his time there with no league appearances for the senior squad. Teramo used him 22 times, with a goal in the Coppa Italia; Rimini played him 32 times. A free transfer to Vis Pesaro in 2023 brought 30 more appearances.

By August 2026 he had passed 56 appearances for Ravenna, and in January of that year a contract renewal running to 2028 was reported. It did not hold. On 26–27 August 2026 he moved to Südtirol in a swap that took Daniele Casiraghi to Ravenna, with no fee reported by either club.
