Milen Mbeng

Milan Mbeng came through the youth ranks in northern France, spending seven years in Lille OSC's academy before finishing his development at EA Guingamp. In July 2021 he signed his first professional contract with Royal Charleroi in Belgium, joining on a free transfer. His time there did not translate into first-team football: across three and a half years at the club, he never made an appearance for Charleroi's senior side in the Belgian Pro League.

The move that put him on a pitch regularly came in January 2025, when Mbeng left Belgium for Ireland on a free transfer to Cork City. That form led to his next transfer just months later, on 28 July 2025, when Shelbourne signed him on a multi-year contract. The fee was not disclosed by either club, though a figure of €20,000 circulated in some reports.

At Shelbourne he has continued to be a regular, making 20 appearances for the club so far. Mbeng has not been capped by France at any level.
