Misael Aldair Dávila Carvajal

Misael Aldair Dávila Carvajal is a product of the Deportes Iquique academy, where he came through the youth ranks before breaking into the first team in 2008. He stayed there for close to a decade, making 188 league appearances and scoring 15 goals, and in 2010 he won both the Copa Chile and the Primera B title with the club. A loan spell took him to Deportes Temuco in the middle of that run before he returned to Iquique.

He left for Unión Española in 2018 and spent two seasons there. His output in his final campaign is remembered differently depending on who is asked: the club's own figures had him on five goals and an assist in 2019/20, an earlier report in the same year named him as the team's top scorer with four, and his next club, Palestino, later credited him with ten goals for that season. Whatever the true count, the move to Palestino followed in 2021, and he stayed there for four seasons without adding a major trophy to his collection.

Dávila returned to Deportes Iquique on a free transfer for the 2025 season, closing the loop on the club where he started. In January 2026 he moved on again, joining Deportes Concepción as a free agent, one of six signings the club made for its 2026 campaign.

At international level, his experience is limited to the youth setup: he was capped four times for Chile's under-17 side in 2009, without scoring, and has not featured for the senior national team.
