Nathanael Blair

Nathanael Blair's early football took him through Sydney's club scene rather than an academy pathway — Marrickville FC, then APIA Leichhardt, then Northbridge, before he returned to APIA Leichhardt for the 2022 NPL NSW season and made his senior debut in March that year, finishing the campaign with 13 appearances and a goal. That form earned him a two-year scholarship at Western Sydney Wanderers, and he made his A-League Men debut in December 2022, though first-team opportunities stayed limited — seven appearances across two seasons without a goal.

A free transfer took him to Perth Glory in June 2024, where he played 16 matches, before his contract there was ended by mutual consent in January 2026. Within weeks he had signed for Central Coast Mariners on a free transfer for the rest of the 2025/26 season, and the move brought out his sharpest form yet — 13 appearances and three goals.

Blair has also broken into Australia's Under-23 setup, the Olyroos, since debuting for the age group in 2025. He has gone on to earn eight caps and score five goals at that level.
