About the player
Nikita Glushkov started out at Lokomotiv-Kazanka, the reserve side of Lokomotiv Moscow, helping it to a silver medal in the Professional Football League's Zone West during the 2018/19 season. From there he moved to Chayka on a free transfer, staying until September 2021, when he signed for Dynamo Makhachkala, again as a free agent.
With Dynamo, Glushkov won the Second Division, Group 1, in his first season at the club, then took a silver medal in the First League in 2023/24 as the side earned promotion to the Russian Premier League. A brief spell at Baltika Kaliningrad followed before he returned to Makhachkala. In the 2026/27 season he had scored twice and set up two more goals in seven matches for Dynamo.
Glushkov's international experience so far has come at youth level: five caps and a goal for Russia's under-18 side in 2017, followed by another five caps and a goal for the under-20s in 2018. He has yet to be capped by the senior national team, though he has said publicly that he feels ready for a call-up.
