Nikita Fedotov

In February 2022, days after the full-scale Russian invasion began, Nikita Fedotov set aside a move that was being lined up to Metalist Kharkiv and enlisted in Ukraine's Territorial Defence Forces. He served in the defence of Izium alongside his father.

Fedotov started out in the Poltava region, making his senior debut for FC Poltava before a move to Polissya Zhytomyr. He then went abroad, spending a season at UD Montijo in Portugal before joining Ponferradina in Spain, first with the reserve side before making the step up to the first team. He returned to Ukraine in 2023 to join UCSA in Tarasivka, later moving on to Bukovyna Chernivtsi and then Epitsentr Dunayivtsi.

At Epitsentr he has already had his say on matches. He saved a penalty against Polissya during the 2025/26 season, and later produced a crucial stop against Maksym Zaderaka to preserve a goalless draw with Bukovyna. He also kept a clean sheet in Epitsentr's first home Ukrainian Premier League match played in Khmelnytskyi Oblast since 1995, a fixture against Obolon.

Born in Dnipro, Fedotov has represented Ukraine at underage level.
