Noah O'Brien

Noah O'Brien captained Waterford FC's Under-20 side before joining the senior squad in February 2025, and he made his senior debut that year in the Munster Senior Cup, playing his part in a 4-2 win over Treaty United at the RSC. He went on to make four further appearances in the competition across 2025 and 2026. His path to the club began at Villa FC, from where he moved into Waterford's academy pathway in 2022 after being selected to represent the club at the Kennedy Cup. That progression was formalised on July 24, 2026, when he signed his first professional contract, having already been named among the substitutes for a League of Ireland Premier Division fixture against St Patrick's Athletic.

O'Brien has also featured for the Republic of Ireland Schools side, starting all three matches at the 2026 SAFIB Centenary Shield against Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. He scored twice in the tournament and was named Player of the Match in the game against Northern Ireland.

A left-footed defender, O'Brien stands at 1.93 m.
