Ole Pohlmann

Ole Pohlmann's rise went through Wolfsburg's academy before a free transfer took him to Borussia Dortmund II in July 2021, where he became a fixture in the 3. Liga side, racking up 97 league appearances. His best individual campaign came in 2023–24, when he scored 13 goals for Dortmund II and finished just behind the division's top scorer. That form earned him a promotion to Dortmund's first team in June 2023, though his top-flight opportunities were limited to two Bundesliga appearances before his contract ran out.

Rather than negotiate an extension, Pohlmann left on a free transfer in July 2024, signing a three-year deal with Rio Ave FC in Portugal. Over two seasons on the Portuguese coast he made 59 league appearances, scoring twice and setting up two further goals, and added eight cup outings. In July 2026 he moved again, this time to SpVgg Greuther Fürth in the 2. Bundesliga, once more on a free transfer, and committed himself to a contract running until 2029.

Born in Minden, Pohlmann came through Germany's youth international set-up, collecting caps from under-15 to under-18 level between 2016 and 2019, though he has yet to add a senior call-up. Each of his major career moves — from Wolfsburg to Dortmund, from Dortmund to Rio Ave, and now to Greuther Fürth — has come without a transfer fee changing hands.
