About the player
Robert Cornel Neacșu came through the youth ranks at Juventus București and made his first-team debut for the side in May 2017. That same year the club rebranded as Daco-Getica București, and Neacșu stayed on. He moved on to Turnu Măgurele's AFC Turris-Oltul in 2019. He joined CSA Steaua București in 2021. The left-back was part of the squad that won the Liga III title in the 2020–21 season, a result that carried the club up to Liga II. He left Steaua as a free agent in July 2022 and signed with Metaloglobus București the same month, again on a free transfer. Neacșu has settled at Metaloglobus. He has become a regular fixture there, passing 70 appearances across all competitions. He has not been capped by Romania's senior national team.
