Rudy Allan Molotnikov

Rudy Allan Molotnikov joined Hibernian's academy at the age of five, in 2016, and progressed through the club's ranks, signing his first youth contract at ten. He signed his first professional contract in July 2022, ahead of the 2023/24 season, and made his senior debut on 31 August 2023, coming off the bench in a 3–0 defeat to Aston Villa in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

His breakthrough season followed a loan spell: between February and June 2024 he went to Stirling Albion, making eight appearances without scoring. Back at Hibernian, he opened his goalscoring account in July 2024 against Queen's Park in the Scottish League Cup, and added another during the 2024/25 season in the Scottish Cup. His progress was rewarded in December 2024, when he signed a new long-term contract keeping him at the club until May 2029.

Molotnikov has been capped extensively for Scotland at youth level. He was a key player for the Scotland U17 side that competed at the 2023 UEFA European Under-17 Championship in Cyprus, scoring twice in ten appearances, and went on to captain the Scotland U19 team, scoring three times in twelve caps. In October 2025 he received his first call-up to the Scotland U21 squad, going on to make an appearance for that age group.

At club level, he has made around 30 senior appearances for Hibernian across all competitions, scoring four goals and providing two assists.
