Sebastian Bergier

Ten goals in sixteen Ekstraklasa appearances — that was Sebastian Bergier's first season at Widzew Łódź, after arriving in May 2025 as a free agent on a contract running to 30 June 2029.

The route there ran through the reserves. Bergier came out of the Śląsk Wrocław academy and spent six years, from 2017 to 2023, largely in the second string, where the numbers were emphatic: 88 appearances, 48 goals. The first team was another matter. He made 31 appearances for them across the same period, and the club twice sent him out on loan — to Stal Mielec in 2018, for 14 games, and to Wigry Suwałki in 2019, for four.

The break came in February 2023, when he moved to GKS Katowice in a swap that took Patryk Szwedzik the other way to Wrocław. Two seasons there gave him 70 appearances and 28 goals, and the club won promotion during his time at the ground. It was the first sustained run of first-team football of his career, and the scoring rate held.

His international record is brief. Bergier won three caps for Poland's under-19s in 2018 and scored once. He was named in a squad for the 2019 Under-20 World Cup, staged in Poland, but did not play an official match at the tournament. He has no senior caps.
