S. Pedro

In January 2026, Železničar Pančevo paid €200,000 for a teenager playing in the reserve set-up of Estrela da Amadora. The player was Simão Ambrósio Pedro, an attacking midfielder who usually operates from the left flank, and he was handed the number 10 shirt.

Pedro came through Académica de Futebol de Angola, the academy he left in the summer of 2024 for Portugal. At Estrela da Amadora he moved between age groups rather than settling in one: 16 matches and four goals for the under-23s, nine appearances for the B side in the Portuguese third tier, five games and three goals at under-19 level. The B team fixtures were his first competitive senior football, though no debut date was recorded.

The move to Serbia gave him a regular place in a top-flight squad. In the 2025/26 SuperLiga season he made 16 appearances, scored twice and set up two more. He has added four league matches and a goal in 2026/27, and featured in Železničar's UEFA Conference League qualifying tie against Braga — a return to Portugal, this time in European competition.

Angola have called him up at under-20 level since he was still a teenager. He played at the COSAFA Under-20 tournament in both 2022 and 2024. In September 2024 he scored in an Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Zambia, a match Angola won 3–1. Across that qualifying campaign he made five appearances and scored once. He has not yet been involved with the senior national side.
