About the player
Samuel Isife's route to Slavia Praha ran through two lower-division stops. The Nigerian defender, developed at the 36 Lions Academy and Zenith Future Eagles at home, arrived in the Czech Republic in February 2025 to join FC Sellier & Bellot Vlašim, then moved on to FK Dukla Praha that June. By January 2026 he had earned a permanent switch to Slavia, signing a contract that runs to the end of 2029.
At Slavia, Isife operates as a right-back, wearing the number 14 shirt, and was part of the squad that won the Czech First League in the 2025/2026 season. He shares the dressing room with fellow Nigerians Igoh Ogbu and Peter Olayinka.
