About the player
He made his senior debut that September in a League Cup tie against Reading.
A loan spell at Cheltenham Town, beginning in August 2021, gave Perry his first sustained run of first-team football. He scored his first senior goal that September in a win over Charlton Athletic and was named the club's player of the month for the same period. Injury cut the loan short in January 2022, but he returned to Cheltenham for a second spell the following summer, taking his total appearances for the club past fifty.
When his Wolves contract expired in June 2023, Perry signed for Shrewsbury Town as a free agent. Shrewsbury extended his contract that May.
Perry also represented England at under-17 level, earning four caps in 2017. In July 2026 he moved on to Exeter City.
