Tobias Schützenauer

Schützenauer spent nine years under contract at SK Sturm Graz and left with two Austrian Cup medals. He was the backup when Sturm won the cup in 2022–23, and the backup again through the 2023–24 Bundesliga title season, taking no part in the matches that decided the league.

The goalkeeping began at GAK's youth section in 2010 and continued at Sturm's U15 and U16 sides. From 2013 he was registered with the second team, where he made fifty appearances over five years. His first-team debut came on 24 May 2015, a 2–1 win over Admira Wacker.

Leaving Graz in July 2023 took him to SCR Altach on a free transfer, and from there to FC Dinamo Tbilisi in November 2024 on a short-term deal. Georgia gave him a single Erovnuli Liga appearance, on 20 November 2024, before the contract ran out in January.

He signed for LASK Linz the following month, again on a free. In the 2025–26 season the club won the Austrian Cup, beating Altach 4–2 after extra time in the final and completing a domestic double — the same competition Schützenauer had watched others lift twice in Graz, now with his old employers of 2023–24 on the losing side.

Both-footed, he has moved through every transfer of his career without a fee changing hands.
