About the player
Tom Hobrecht grew up in Göttingen, scoring freely for his hometown club, 1. SC Göttingen 05, in the U19 Niedersachsenliga. In the summer of 2024, he joined Hannover 96's academy on a free transfer.
In his first season with Hannover 96's U19 side, Hobrecht scored ten goals in just eight matches. He was promoted to the reserve team, Hannover 96 II, in the Regionalliga Nord for the 2025/26 campaign. The club handed him his first professional contract, signed on 25 June 2026 and running until 30 June 2029.
