About the player
Vinícius Tobias Shakhtar Donetsk paid around €6 million for him in July 2021, a deal that only became official the following February. within weeks he was sent out on loan to Real Madrid, where he spent most of his time with Castilla, making 61 appearances for the reserve side.
His breakthrough with the first team came on 6 January 2024, when he made his senior debut in a 3-1 Copa del Rey win over Arandina. though his own senior involvement was limited to that Copa del Rey run.
The loan ended in June 2024 and he returned to Shakhtar, that ties him to the club until 2029.
At youth international level, Tobias has represented Brazil from the under-15s through to the under-23s, winning the Copa América Sub-15 in 2019.
