About the player
Faghir was born in Vejle, and it is to Vejle he has returned. He came through the club's own youth system, staying until 2020, when he made his senior debut for the Danish side. A year later, in August 2021, Stuttgart paid €4 million for him.
Stuttgart sent him out on loan twice, first to FC Nordsjælland for the 2022–2023 season, and then to SV Elversberg for 2023–2024. In July 2025 his contract there was terminated by mutual consent. He signed with Vejle on a free transfer shortly after, putting his name to a deal running until June 2028.
Faghir is right-footed and has represented Denmark at every youth level from U16 to U21. His parents are Afghan refugees, though he has not played for Afghanistan's senior side. There have been no individual awards or league titles along the way.
