About the player
Vassim Lantaki was born in Uccle and made his way through Anderlecht's academy before a move abroad to the youth ranks of LOSC Lille, where he played for the U19 side and Lille OSC B. When his contract there ran out, he signed for KV Mechelen on a free transfer, and within months he was sent out on loan to Helmond Sport, the Belgian club's sister side in the Netherlands, on a loan running through to 2027.
A left-footed left-back, Lantaki has built his profile largely at international youth level with Morocco. He has since added appearances for the Morocco U23s.
