About the player
Fan Xulin came through the Henan Jianye academy, joining the club's professional setup in 2013 and working his way to a debut in China League One. He stayed with the Henan side for years, building up a long run of appearances before leaving on a free transfer to Qingdao Hainiu in March 2023, where he added roughly 44 league appearances over two seasons.
A loan spell in 2024 with Guangxi Pingguo Haoliao in China League One saw him make 26 appearances, score four goals and provide two assists. In 2025 he moved on again, this time to Wuhan Three Towns on another free transfer, where he has featured in the league between 17 and 23 times and scored a couple of goals.
Born in Dalian, he has also had brief registrations with Changchun Yatai and Hubei Istar amid a run of transfer activity in recent seasons. Henan's own history includes Chinese League One titles in 2006 and 2013 and Yi League titles in 1982 and 1999, all before his time at the club, and he has yet to add a major honour of his own to that record.
