AS PSI

Derbies against Tout Puissant Elect Sport have carried the weight of a Linafoot title before, and when the two sides met for the 2023 championship, N'Djamena treated it as the local final it was; AS PSI came out on top.

The name belongs to the barracks as much as to the pitch. AS PSI fields the football team of the Pan Sahel Initiative, the Groupement Spécial Anti-Terroriste unit inside the Chadian army built with American backing, and that lineage earns the players their nickname, Les Militaires.

The 2023 Linafoot title was followed by a regional one in 2024, the Ligue Provinciale de Football de N'Djamena, and by then the club's name was already appearing on CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup team sheets. Tahir Gardjja took charge for the 2024-2025 Champions League campaign, with goalkeeper Adoassou Eli Mathieu and defender Noubara Félix carrying that continental exposure into call-ups for the national side, the Sao, for AFCON 2027 qualifying.

Home games are played in front of up to 20,000 at the Stade Omnisports Idriss Mahamat Ouya, the national stadium.
