Carapebus

The Associação Atlética Carapebus took shape on 12 April 2006, a separate outfit rather than a revival, and it plays out of the Estádio Carlos Mota da Silva in blue and yellow.

The name people actually use is "Carroça da Usina" — the plant's wagon. What the club is remembered for locally is 2011: promotion out of the Campeonato Carioca Série C achieved while the players went unpaid, with coach Luciano Lamoglia holding the squad together through it. João Paulo, Washington and Tataco were the names attached to that campaign.

Silverware has come since, if modestly: the Taça Maracanã in 2020, and a further promotion to Série B1 in 2024, restoring the club to the level it first reached in 2011.

For a club of this size, the Estádio Carlos Mota da Silva holds only a couple of thousand.
