Damansara

Damansara Heights, one of Kuala Lumpur's more affluent districts, had no football club of its own before 2025. It gained one only because an arrangement elsewhere came apart: a Negeri Sembilan side called Bunga Raya, founded in Port Dickson in 2002, had entered a joint venture with the Damansara Sports Group to compete in the Malaysia A1 Semi-Pro League as Bunga Raya Damansara F.C. for the 2024–25 season. The partnership ran for that one campaign. Bunga Raya then reverted to its old name and home, while the Damansara side regrouped on its own as UM-Damansara United, working alongside the University of Malaya.

The club took the nickname The City Tigers and plays in navy blue and pink. Its squad mixes university students, among them Aif Danish Saifudin, with senior professionals, including defender Muhammad Hariz Mansor, a former Malaysia Under-23 international, under captain Shivan Pillay and head coach Asri Ninggal. Winger Anuar Ceesay, a Welsh-Malaysian signed from Leatherhead FC in July 2025, had already left for Negeri Sembilan by January 2026.

Honours, so far, belong only to the predecessor: Bunga Raya finished runners-up in the Negeri Sembilan M5 League in 2022. UM-Damansara United carries none of that into its own record, which stands at one completed season.
