Granada

Promotion in 2013 came the hard way: the Segunda División Femenina title in 2012–13 lifted Granada CF Femenino into the Primera División for the first time since the section had been formed in 2003, only for relegation to follow after the 2013–14 season. It took until 2022–23 to get back, and that return went through the play-offs, past CA Osasuna and Deportivo de la Coruña.

The women's team carries the same red-and-white identity as the men's side, and the same nickname, Nazaríes, a reference to the dynasty that once ruled the city. Ownership changes under the Chinese company DDCM left the club unsettled for stretches, but the roster held some constants: Lauri Requena has made 362 appearances since 2013, more than anyone else in the club's history. Alba Pérez came up through the academy at Arenas de Armilla and has played 225 matches since 2016.

Edna Imade gave the club its most recent spell of real form, 21 goals across two seasons before Bayern Munich signed her in 2025. Xie Ting arrived in 2023 and became the first Chinese player to appear in Liga F. The clearest measure of where the club stands now came in the 2024–25 Copa de la Reina, where Granada beat Levante UD in the quarter-finals before Atlético de Madrid ended the run in the semis, 2–0 home and away.

Granada have never won Liga F or the Copa de la Reina itself. Two promotions in a decade is the whole of the honours list.
