Haladás VSE

The Haladás Sportkomplexum has stood on the site since November 2017, when it replaced the old Rohonci úti Stadion, which was torn down to make way for it. It seats 8,903.

Szombathelyi Haladás was founded in 1919. The club has never won the Nemzeti Bajnokság I; the closest it came was third place in 2008-09. It has been promoted from and relegated back to the second tier so often that it has won the Nemzeti Bajnokság II ten times, from 1938-39 through to 2007-08. In the Magyar Kupa it reached the final three times, in 1974-75, 1992-93 and 2001-02.

The lower moment came after relegation from the top flight in 2019, when the operating company behind the club, Szombathelyi Haladás Kft., ran into unpaid wages. By July 2024 it had lost its licence and was excluded from the leagues altogether. The original parent body, Szombathelyi Haladás VSE, took over the club, renamed it Szombathelyi MÁV Haladás VSE, and dropped it into the third division to start again. The Hungarian government followed in March 2025 with 470 million forints in emergency aid.
