Twice in a row, in Xalapa and then in León, Mexico's U23 women closed out the NORCECA Pan American Cup with bronze, beating Chile in 2024 and Cuba, 3-2, the following year. In 2021 and again in 2023 it reached the final, and both times Dominican Republic stood in the way, winning in straight sets in Aguascalientes and then in four in Hermosillo. Ximena Cruz recognised as the competition's best server.

A second silver, at the Junior Pan American Games in 2024 under head coach Luis León López, came in the same year as the Xalapa bronze.

What the side has never had is a home. Tournament hosting rotates around Mexico, so the team has played in the Velódromo Internacional in Xalapa, in Arena Sonora in Hermosillo, and in the Domo de la Feria in León.
