Olympic Kingsway

Kingsway Reserve seats around 2,000, with 250 of those on fixed seating, though for the bigger occasions the club has pushed as many as 3,000 through the gates. The ground sits within the Kingsway Regional Sporting Complex in Madeley, north of Perth, and it has been home since 1973, when the club moved out of its original base and took the suburb's name for its own.

That original name was Olympic Soccer Club, set up in 1953 by Macedonian Greek immigrants from the Macedonia region of Greece. The club won Division Three North in its first senior season, in 1956. The Macedonian naming dispute that runs through Western Australian football gave the club its sharpest rivalry, with Stirling Macedonia, and the two have met at the biggest moments: the 2024 Top Four Cup final went to extra time before Olympic Kingsway won it 3-2.

That match was one leg of a treble. In 2024 the Green Machine, as they are known for their colours, took the NPL WA Premiership with 52 points, beat Perth RedStar 3-2 after extra time to win the Football West State Cup, then closed out the Top Four Cup against Stirling Macedonia. It echoed 1978 to 1980, when the club, then still finding its feet under the new name, won the state league title twice and took three straight Top 4 Cups.

The captain of that 2024 side was Mitch Oxborrow, and it is his name supporters reach for first when the treble comes up.
