Oravské Veselé

Oravské Veselé sits in the Orava region of northern Slovakia. TJ Tatran Oravské Veselé has never chased anything beyond that: the club has spent its life in the lower rungs of Slovak football, the 3. Liga and 4. Liga, without a major honour to show for it.

The team traces its roots to 1950, when it was registered as TJ Sokol Oravské Veselé before taking the Tatran name it still carries. The nickname Oravčania, pulled straight from the region's name, is how locals still refer to the side.

Peter Struhár gives the club its clearest thread of continuity: he played there from 2015 to 2021 and then stayed on as manager. Before him, Ivan Trabalík spent two seasons on the books, including former Slovak international Peter Babnič.

The ground itself holds 2,000.
