That older memory was not about football, yet it sits alongside the current tenant, Aabenraa Boldklub, in the same space. The complex has been known as Arena Aabenraa since 2017, a name that encompasses a swimming pool and indoor halls, though the stadium itself remains a place for outdoor sport.

Concerts have also taken place here, with bands like D-A-D and Gnags playing under the open sky. These events speak to a versatility that goes beyond the league table. The attendance record for the current era, however, remains tied to the cup match against the Danish giants, a day when the gates filled to their limit.
