The building opened its doors in September 2019, though the schedule slipped and the final ribbon was cut a year later, in September 2021. The delay was not unusual for such a project; construction had already started in April 2019. The number of seats was fixed at 2,500. Inside, the floor is parquet, a flat sheet of wood that measures 46 by 25 meters.

Nowak-Mosty MKS Będzin calls it home. They play in the Tauron 1. Liga, the second tier of Polish volleyball, and they move around the court with a rhythm that fits the space. The hall is not loud in the way old football grounds are; the sound stays close to the ceiling. When Redlin came through, they played a musical history lesson that filled the empty corners, but mostly the room waits for the players.

It stands near the river boulevards, where the water runs black and slow. The address is ul. Sportowa 20, a straight line from the main road. There is no history of the building before its opening, no former names to unpack. It was built from scratch after the city decided the old venues could no longer hold the events. The price was fixed at 27.8 million PLN, a sum that covered the concrete and the steel, and left the rest to the people who fill the seats.

On quiet days, you can hear the wind move through the open doors. The parquet floor is dry and ready. The stands are empty, but the lights work.
