Estadi Associació d'Alumnes Obrers

On the Rambla de Sant Jordi in Vilanova i la Geltrú, the Alumnes Obrers ground hosts the local senior club.

The ground carries the name of the workers' association that first put a team on this patch of the city, though the football section that founded it folded around 1931. The club itself did not resume until 1951, and the stadium as it now stands dates only from 2003 , when the site was rebuilt and laid with artificial turf.

What lingers in the club's memory is not a result but a shoot. In 2006, Nike brought its Joga TV campaign here with Cristiano Ronaldo, and CF Vilanova's youth sides were handed a special kit to mark the occasion.
