The pitch itself has had more recent attention than the club that used to call it home. Between 2023 and 2025, work went into resurfacing the natural grass, alongside plans for a second, artificial pitch meant for training rather than matchdays — the kind of groundwork that usually signals a place preparing for tenants still to come.
