Estádio Hailé Pinheiro (Estádio da Serrinha)

Serrinha has always been Goiás's ground alone; no other side calls it home except when Vila Nova borrow it. The name printed on the crest, Estádio Hailé Pinheiro, rarely gets used — locals and the press stick with Serrinha, after the district where the gates open onto Avenida Edmundo Pinheiro de Abreu in Setor Bela Vista.

The opening match set the tone for what the ground would become: Goiás against Kashima Antlers, a Japanese visitor a long way from home, on the day the gates first opened in Goiânia. Capacity back then sat modestly under seven thousand, a fraction of what stands today after four separate rounds of building work reshaped the place over the following decades. The most consequential came ahead of the Confederations Cup, when the pitch was relaid to FIFA standard — a detail that mattered more than any grandstand addition, since it put Serrinha on a list of grounds trusted to host the tournament's matches.

The last major expansion, finished as the 2020s opened, more than doubled the original gate figure and left the stadium in something closer to its current shape. The natural turf that came in during the Confederations Cup work has stayed the surface of choice through every renovation since, never swapped for anything synthetic even as the stands around it kept changing.
