Estadio Regional de Chinquihue (Bicentenario de Chinquihue)

In 2002, this ground became the first stadium in South America to lay an artificial surface, and that pitch survived the years of rebuilding that followed and remains in place today.

The first phase was finished in 2010, timed to Chile's bicentennial celebrations, and the stadium took the name Bicentenario de Chinquihue. The full reopening followed in June 2013, funded mostly through the national sports institute IND alongside regional and municipal money.

Club de Deportes Puerto Montt has called it home since 1983, and the ground's biggest crowd came on 6 September 1998, when 12,217 people packed in to watch Puerto Montt hold Colo-Colo goalless.
