The name is the only thing that changes. The club still lists the ground under its old descriptive names, Hřiště FK Komárov or simply Komárovský stadion.

That day was in 1931, when FK Komárov moved to a plot known locally as "pod oborou," land leased from the nearby ironworks.

What has changed is smaller and more recent. The terrace restaurant has been rebuilt, and a new children's playground now sits on the grounds, the kind of addition that marks a ground as still in everyday use rather than preserved as a relic. The pitch itself, natural grass, is kept in noticeably good order for a stadium of 1,500 capacity — the sort of detail a groundsman takes pride in more than a chairman does.

There is no second team sharing the ground, no rival stand across town to compare it with. In Komárov, this is simply where football happens.
