Gipedo Triandrias
Thessaloniki, Greece
The municipal ground in Triandria is located in one of Thessaloniki’s annexed suburbs. The facility is officially the Dimotiko Gipedo Triandrias, though it is often called simply Gipedo Triandrias. Located at Gymnastiriou 1, the site has been under the care of the Municipality of Thessaloniki since the local administrative merger in 2011.
The most immediate change came with the pitch. In November 2025, a new synthetic surface was laid for the first time in eighteen years. The capacity remains modest, holding around 1,000 spectators.
The ground’s primary tenants are local amateur outfits like Achilleas Triandrias and IEK Delta. However, it also serves a wider purpose. PAOK Women use the venue for matches in the Greek Women's Super League, though they often prefer the larger Kaftanzoglio stadium for significant fixtures. There is a history here that reaches back further than the recent renovation. In the early 2000s, the same women’s team hosted UEFA Women's Cup matches on this turf. The stadium has also seen international veteran basketball tournaments, such as the Maxiday event in 2020.
There is no clear record of when the ground was first opened. Some sources mention an inauguration in 2016, but it is unclear if this refers to the original building or a later upgrade. No attendance records exist, likely because the venue is not built for spectacle.
