Twenty league titles have gone to the women's side of PAOK. The team did not grow out of youth football in Thessaloniki: in 2001 PAOK took over Olympiada '96, a club in financial trouble, bought its place in the championship and folded it into the wider PAOK organisation.
Perica Krstić took the 2006 championship and came back twice more, in 2018–19 and again from 2020 to 2022; the doubles of 2015, 2016 and 2017 fell under Aleksandar Katikaridis. Dimitra Panteliadou scored 20 goals in a season three separate times, in 2002–03, 2011–12 and 2015–16.
Home is Gipedo Triandrias in the Triandria district, an artificial pitch holding 1,000. The women play at the club's training base, and for part of recent seasons at Gipedo Neon Evvaton.
Aris, from the same city, provide the Derby of Thessaloniki.
Tomai Vardali, top scorer in 2022–23, wears the armband, with Maria Mitkou as her deputy.
