The arena sits in the Bystrzyca district. The parquet floor is the centre of everything, and the stands wrap tightly around it. The capacity shifts depending on what is happening. For a volleyball match, the seating is fixed, but when the floor is used for a concert, the crowd swells. The venue is not a football ground, and that distinction matters. It is a home for handball, basketball, and volleyball. The atmosphere is different from a stadium where the wind goes through the stands. Here, the noise is contained. The hall has seen its share of important matches. The Polish Basketball Cup finals were held here, and the crowd packed the seats for those games. The attendance record for a sports event was set when Bogdanka LUK Lublin played Cucine Lube Civitanova. The number of people inside was close to the maximum the building can hold. There are maintenance issues, like the roof leaks that appeared a few years ago, but the building remains in use. It was renamed in 2021 to honour Tomasz Wójtowicz, a volleyball legend, which fits the history of the sport played on this floor. The surface was replaced in 2018, so the players have a modern court. Concerts also take place here. The Polish rock band Bajm played in April 2024, filling the space with a different kind of energy. The transition from a quiet practice session to a full venue for a show happens quickly. The doors open, the lights dim, and the game is over. The facility is owned by the city and run by MOSiR "Bystrzyca". It is not a new build, having opened in 2006 after seven years of construction. It serves as the main indoor venue for the city, hosting events that require more than just a pitch. The stands are not huge, but they are full when it counts.

Hala Sportowo-Widowiskowa „Globus” im. Tomasza Wójtowicza is the full name of the venue, though most people simply call it the Globus hall. It is located at ul. Kazimierza Wielkiego 8. The official capacity is listed as 3,909 for seated events, but the total number of people can rise to 4,500 when the floor is used for standing room. The record attendance for a volleyball match was 4,250 spectators in March 2025. The basketball final drew 4,221 people. The parquet floor is a key feature, having been renewed in 2018. The building is part of the MOSiR "Bystrzyca" complex. It was renamed in 2021. The hall hosted the Polish Basketball Cup finals in 2022 and 2023. A Bajm concert was held on April 20, 2024.
