The Hala Nysa does not have a history. It was built from scratch between 2015 and 2017 on the site of a side field and tennis courts next to Stadion Polonii Nysa. The wooden parquet floor was put in place for volleyball and basketball, and the space was designed to hold 2,500 people for matches. The hall opened in December 2017, with sources disagreeing on whether the first fixture took place on the 29th or the 30th.

The main tenant is Stal AZS PWSZ Nysa, a men’s volleyball team that competes in the Polish 1st Volleyball League. The football side, Polonia Nysa, also makes regular use of the floor. So do school children and local amateur teams. The hall stays open for business, filling the quiet weeks with matches and practice sessions. It serves as the base for the Akademia Młodych Orłów PZPN, the Youth Eagles Academy of the Polish Football Association. The building is managed by the Nysa Development Agency, which secured funding from the Ministry of Sport to cover the cost of construction. The capacity for cultural events rises to 3,300, but the hall is primarily a place for sport. It does not host major tournaments or notable incidents, relying instead on the steady rhythm of local competition.
