Stadium
Halle am Hardtberg
Bonn, Germany
Halle am Hardtberg stands in the Hardtberg district of Bonn. Opened in 1990, it shares that distinction with the Telekom Dome.
The interior is defined by its function. The official capacity sits at 3,500, a number confirmed by multiple records. From 1996 until 2008, it was the home for the Telekom Baskets Bonn.
Since then, the floor has been shared. It has also seen Rot-Weiß Röttgen and SG Alfterer SC/SSF, along with handball tournaments and the German Championship in hockey back in 2003.
It simply provides a place for sport to happen. The pitch, or rather the court, is the focus. When the lights come on, the noise is contained, sharp, and real.
