Kladenská sportovní hala
Kladno, Czechia
Inside, the hall is a box of light and glass. Wi-Fi is available for visitors.
It does not specialise in one sport. The hall hosts Kladno Volejbal CZ for their CEV Challenge Cup matches, and the basketball sides, including the under-19 team, also play here. In November 2024 the volleyball club faced Sporting CP in an international fixture that filled the 1,000 seats. The venue also stages MMA and kickboxing galas, such as the IAF 11 and IAF 14 events, and the national finals of the Youth Sports Day, which drew 280 participants in 2023 and again in 2024. A restaurant and vending machines sit behind the seating area.
The surface is wooden parquet, which explains the rule that visitors must wear clean indoor shoes with light soles. The hall underwent insulation and a floor replacement in 2011; its original opening date is not recorded. It is managed by the municipal sports authority, Sportovní areály města Kladna s.r.o., and sits at Sportovců 817 in the Rozdělov district.
