The Kladenská sportovní hala holds about 1,000 people. Kladno's women play there in blue and white.

The team traces back to a move from Odolená Voda in 2004, when the club took root in Kladno under its current name. The predecessor side, Aero Odolená Voda, had carried Czechoslovak titles in 1978, 1987 and 1988, but those belong to a different city and a different era. The women's squad, nicknamed the Cats, currently plays in the second-tier 1. liga after time in the Extraliga, without a title of its own to show for it.

The two sides' meetings are known simply as the Kladno–Slavia derby.
