«Dukla»
Liberec built its reputation on volleyball long before this particular squad ever took the court. Sportovní hala Dukla Liberec has watched the city's team win a European title and more than a dozen national championships since the postwar years.
VK Liberec B is the reserve side of VK Dukla Liberec, entered separately in Czech Volleyball Federation records with a founding date of 1994, though the club it feeds traces back to an army sports club founded in Prague in 1948 that only settled in Liberec in 1969. The women's section itself is a more recent chapter: it was re-established in 2017 after years without a team.
That is the whole point of the side. It competes in the 1. liga, the second tier of Czech women's volleyball, and by rule cannot be promoted out of it or compete for the national cup. Karolína Bartošová and Lucie Šulcová both passed through it on their way to the main squad.
None of the senior club's honours belong to it — not the 1976 European Champions Cup, not the run of Czechoslovak titles through the 1950s.
