The final of the 2023/2024 Extraliga went to three sets, and when Brno closed it out 3:0 against Dukla Liberec, the celebration on the Hala Kounicova floor marked something the club had never had in its history: a national title.

The team was formed in 2011 under the Czech Volleyball Federation, run through a project structure known as NVC CVS rather than as an independent club in the usual sense. That administrative arrangement has not stopped it from competing, and winning, at the top of Czech women's volleyball. Two seasons after the league title, Brno added a Czech Cup, beating Prostějov in the final.

One final won, then another, in a hall that seats fewer than a thousand but has started to matter a great deal to the women who play there.
