Prerov Women

Volleyball in Přerov was established in 1923, when the town put together its own volleyball section, playing as Volejbal Přerov.

The club spent most of its life under the name PVK Přerov, which held from the 1923/24 season through to 2025/26, before the switch to RC Europe Přerov for the current campaign. White and blue have stayed the club's colours through both names.

The team competes in the Extraliga, the top flight of Czech women's volleyball, and in the Czech Cup. Home fixtures go on at the Městská sportovní hala, a hall that holds just 300, with the Kouřílkova hall kept in reserve for when the main one is not available.

What the club has not managed across all those years is a place among the country's champions: no Extraliga title and no Czech Cup have gone to Přerov, and it remains a mid-table name in the league rather than one that competes at the top of it.
