NVC CVS B are one rung below the top of Czech women's volleyball, playing in the 1.

The strength of that pipeline shows less in the second team's own record than in what came before it: Brno's junior sides won national titles across five seasons between 2003/04 and 2011/12, and the cadet and youngster age groups added championships of their own through the same period. The registration of the team now known as NVC CVS B with the Czech Volleyball Federation dates to 9 May 2011, placing its formal start close to the peak of that youth run.

Home matches are played at Hala Kounicova, the venue that anchors Volejbal Brno's activities in the city, though the club has also used the Vodova hall.
